FAQ
How does coaching work?
Coaching is a two-way relationship between coach and coachee or client. Through the relationship and coaching process, we will explore and clarify your goals, identify and gain insight into what is getting in your way, and create a path forward.
How do I know I need a coach?
Are you well-intentioned but feeling stuck, constantly tired and not seeing the results that you expect from yourself? Are you experiencing a major transition (ex: going from student to professional, promotion, trailing spouse, etc.)? These are a few examples of when a coach can be really valuable to you so you can clearly see the forest and the trees.
What do I need to know before we begin?
A coach doesn’t have the “magic pill” to make everything better. The coaching process and two-way relationship is what allows you to uncover the answers that often have been there along. What you receive in this relationship is dependent upon what you put in and your willingness to do real self-work.
Do we meet in person?
Most coaching sessions will be conducted via Zoom video calls. In person meetings can be arranged for coaching on a case by case basis based on the location of both parties.
Do I need to be in a leadership role to work with a coach?
No. Who we are is how we lead and we all lead in our own way regardless of our formal job title. Coaching is available to anyone looking to grow personally and professionally. The only perquisite is your willingness to work and be committed to the coaching process and relationship.
